Secret Is You

तत्त्वमसि

Tat tvam asi. That, you are.

The secret is you.

You give your days to work, your evenings to family, your worries to everyone. When did you last spend an hour with yourself?

Pankaj makes room for that hour. On the high, silent trail to Kedarnath. In two still days of retreat near Pune. In one honest conversation that stays with you long after it ends.

Four ways to begin

Two in the Himalaya, two close to home in Pune. Each one is a way of turning towards yourself.

यात्रा

Yatra

An unhurried trek to Kedarnath, or to a trail the group chooses, with Pankaj leading. For anyone who longs for the mountain and the darshan. Up to ten people, from Haridwar.

साधना यात्रा

Sadhana yatra

The same walk, taken inward: silent mornings, breath practice, evening satsang and a sitting at sunrise. Made for people who carry a lot at work. Up to eight people.

विसावा

Weekend retreat

Two days of silence, sitting and satsang in a quiet house of chira stone at Pirangut, with simple meals taken as prasad. For one family or a circle of up to six, on any weekend of the year.

सत्संग

Session

Talks and quiet practice for schools, colleges and individuals, held where you are near Pune. Each one is shaped for the people in the room.

A day on the sadhana yatra

  1. Before dawn

Sit quietly and watch the breath. Nothing to fix, only to notice.

  2. Morning

Walk in silence until the first chai. The mountain does most of the teaching here.

  3. Afternoon

Walk and talk. Bring your questions. The trail is a good place to ask them.

  4. Evening

Satsang after dinner, on one part of the Life Matrix: self, people or work.

  5. Night

A few lines in your journal, then early sleep. The mountain wakes early.

Pankaj

Walking with Pankaj

Pankaj has led these walks for years. Between seasons he sits with school children, college students and anyone who wants to look at their life a little more honestly.

His teaching comes from Vipassana: watch the breath, see things as they are, and let go of what you cannot hold.
