तत्त्वमसि
Tat tvam asi. That, you are.
The secret is you.
Pankaj walks small groups into the Uttarakhand Himalaya, to Kedarnath every year and to trails chosen by the group. Some come for the mountain. Some come to sit with themselves along the way. Both are a pilgrimage.
Two ways to walk
The same trail and the same mountain. What changes is where you put your attention.
यात्रा
Yatra
An unhurried trek with Pankaj leading. Simple food, good company, and time at the top without rushing back down.
- Up to 10 people
- Kedarnath, or a trail the group chooses
- Starts and ends in Haridwar
साधना यात्रा
Sadhana yatra
The same walk, taken inward. Silent mornings, breath practice, satsang in the evenings, and a sunrise sitting at the destination.
- Up to 8 people
- Kedarnath, or a trail the group chooses
- Starts and ends in Haridwar
A day on the sadhana yatra
- Before dawn
Sit quietly and watch the breath. Nothing to fix, only to notice.
- Morning
Walk in silence until the first chai. The mountain does most of the teaching here.
- Afternoon
Walk and talk. Bring your questions. The trail is a good place to ask them.
- Evening
Satsang after dinner, on one part of the Life Matrix: self, people or work.
- Night
A few lines in your journal, then early sleep. The mountain wakes early.
Walking with Pankaj
Pankaj has led these walks for years. Between seasons he sits with school children, college students and anyone who wants to look at their life a little more honestly.
His teaching comes from Vipassana: watch the breath, see things as they are, and let go of what you cannot hold.
सत्संग
Off the mountain
Pankaj speaks with schools, colleges and individuals near Pune. Each session is planned with you, for the people who will be in the room.
